BUYER AND BREEDER PUPPY WARRANTY AND SALES CONTRACT

A chihuahua puppy which is in good health at the time of sale and has received age appropriate shots and dewormings. The puppy described and pictured here is sold for the sum of $________.
A non refundable I deposit of _________ has been placed on this puppy with a remaining balance of __________due at the time of pick-up or delivery. Deposits are nonrefundable & forfeited, unless something was to happen to the said puppy still in BREEDER"S care.
The PUPPY is ___________coat____sex______color__________Birthdate.
The total in a cash form payment is due in full at the time the BUYER takes delivery of or pick-up of the puppy. The BUYER agrees to have the PUPPY vet checked within 72 hrs of time of purchase, to give the puppy a clean bill of health. If Puppy is found to be other then healthy within the 24 hrs along with vet documentation. No cash refunds will be given instead, a replacement puppy of equal value will be substituted for the said Puppy.
This PUPPY is purebred and will be sold with his/her appropriate CKC or AKC registration papers.
BREEDER does not guarantee any show qualities, breeding qualities or adult size. We can only estimate the adult size and weight of the PUPPY and it should be considered only as an estimate.
The BREEDER does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy or veterinarian bills after delivery or pick-up of the PUPPY to the BUYER. The BREEDER guarantees the above dog to be healthy at the time of the sale. The BREEDER is not responsible for any veterinarian charges the BUYER may incur for any health checks. The PUPPY may not be returned if it is found to have worms, as this is a normal occurrence in puppies and is easily treatable and curable. If for some unknown reason You are not able to Keep your puppy at any time, I will take my pup/dog back into my home. If this occurs, I do not offer any refunds if this is the case.
The BREEDER offers a 1 year guarantee against genetic defects only. THESE LISTED PROBLEMS ARE NOT GUARANTEED BY THIS CONTRACT!! PARVO, BAD BITES, MOLERAS, PROBLEMS WITH TESTICLES, FERTILITY, HERNIAS, CALCIUM DROPS OR SUGAR DROPS, KENNEL COUGH, COCCIDIA, GIARDIA AND WORMS. I DO NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST ALLERGIES OR SKIN PROBLEMS THAT ARE NOT LIFE THREATENING. I DO NOT GUARANTEE SIZE OR COLOR. Hypoglecymia and Luxtating patellas are not guaranteed, due to this being common in any toy breeds.
I DO GUARANTEE AGAINST LIFE THREATENING GENETIC BIRTH DEFECTS. IF SAID PUPPY DIES BEFORE ONE YEAR OF AGE. THE BODY MUST BE AUTOPSIED. IF CAUSE OF DEATH WAS DUE TO A GENETIC BIRTH DEFECT I WILL REPLACE THE PUPPY WITH ONE OF EQUAL QUALITY AS SOON AS ONE BECOMES AVAILABLE.
The puppy will be returned to the BREEDER along with documentation of the illness before a replacement is given. No CASH REFUNDS will be given.
The PUPPY has received age appropriate shots and the standard treatment for worms. A record of the treatments has been provided to the BUYER. The BUYER agrees to maintain the puppy's health in good condition, continue the necessary puppy shots, provide examinations, vaccinations, monthly heartworm preventative and any other procedures necessary to assure good health.
Your new Puppy has been vaccinated for the parvovirus. That does not mean your puppy still cannot contract the parvo virus. If you have exposed your puppy to the parvo virus. The Breeder has taken extensive measures as to not expose the puppy to the harmful virus. It can be carried in on your shoes from another source. It is not a good idea to let strangers and alot of different people handle your puppy while young, to help prevent the spread of the parvo virus. Be careful not to take your new puppy (at first) to several different places to expose it to the parvo virus. The breeder is not responsible for any parvo virus related vet bills accrued on this puppy. It will not be replaced by another Puppy because of the parvo virus. No cash refunds because of parvo virus losses as well.
The BREEDER has done everything possible to produce healthy, sound puppies by raising the puppies in the best way possible in regards to diet, exercise, socialization and verterinary care. There are many factors that can influence growth and development, such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. The BUYER assumes all of the responsibilities to carry on with the appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule, as explained by the BREEDER. The BREEDER can offer no further guarantees once the care of the puppy is no longer under their control.
The BUYER acknowledges that the PUPPY"S BREED is only suited for an indoor environment and should not be outside for very long periods of time or without being accompanied by the BUYER or another responsible adult. The PUPPY must be housed indoors. Extra care must be taken to protect the puppy from self-injury due to falls from stairs, chairs, laps, couches, beds etc. The puppy may try to jump from heights it cannot safely handle, this is where alot of greenline fractures will often occur or even broken legs. Watch them close.
NOTE!!! Small puppies are prone to hypoglycemia, "low blood sugar", In small puppies this can be triggered by infrequent feeding. It manifests itself with limpness or rigidity, poor mobility and sometimes unconsciousness or seizures. If this occurs, Nutra-cal is a good source or the puppy should be kept warm and given some kind of sugar, such as Karo syrup, and immediately be taken to the veterinarian. A young puppy should have access to dry food and water at all times. There will be NO guarantee for death caused by hypoglycemia. Please read, sign and date the enclosed sheet provided for you on this subject and be informed. You will be given a copy of this signed paper along with the SIGNED PUPPY SALES CONTRACT.
The BREEDER neither makes nor implies any warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, other than those written in this agreement including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the BREEDER and the BUYER with respects to this sale.
The BUYER"S signature below indicates that he/she has read, agrees to and does understand all of the conditions of this sales agreement and Contract of the sale. This Contract is non-transferable.
